He served overseas during World War II in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany with 403 Squadron and 127 Airfield HQ. Corporal Sam Calvert was wounded in France in July 1944. CAMERON, Cecil J. WWII Cecil was born in North Bay, Ontario on June 9, 1909. He enlisted in the Air Force in Winnipeg on June 13, 1941 and served overseas as an AMAE during World War II. He was discharged in Winnipeg in September 1945 and received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Cecil and his wife Anne had three children: Sheila, Margaret and Thomas. CAMPBELL, Norman Leslie WWI Norman was born in Holland, Manitoba on March 13, 1895. He enlisted in the Army on July 21, 1915 and served overseas with the 79th Battalion and 1st Canadian Machine Gun Corps during World War I. He was discharged in May 1919. Sergeant Norman Campbell received the Military Medal and the Victory Medal.
