CALLIN, James A. WWII Sergeant Pilot James Callin enlisted in the Air Force in Winnipeg on May 29, 1942. He served during World War II with #1 CNS until his discharge on September 6, 1945. James was married to Alice. CALLIN, James Alexander “Jim” WWII Jim was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 19, 1922. He enlisted in Winnipeg in June 1942 for World War II serving in Canada as a Flight Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Jim was discharged in Winnipeg on September 25, 1945. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Jim and his wife Alice had two sons, Percy James and Harrey Thomas.
