He enlisted in Winnipeg on June 22, 1940 and served at the Fort Osborne Military Hospital in Canada during World War II. Rev. A. C. Blackwell was discharged on September 25, 1945. He and his wife Martha had two sons, Martin and Andrew, and one daughter, Enid. BLAIR, George Allan WWI George was born on October 14, 1897. He enlisted in Calgary in May 1918 and served with the 21st Reserve Battalion, CIF in Canada and in the United Kingdom. George was discharged in May 1919 and was awarded the Service Medal. He and his wife Emma had three sons: James, Donald and Keith. BLAIR, Helen WWII Helen was born on January 19, 1924. She enlisted in the Air Force in Winnipeg on October 22, 1942 and served with the Royal Canadian Air Force Women’s Division during World War II. She was discharged on April 9, 1946 at the rank of L.A.W. and received the Service Medal. Helen married Robert and they had two daughters, Barbara and Eldeen.
