He enlisted in the Army and served with the Royal Canadian Signals in Canada, United Kingdom, and the Continental Europe. George was a Member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Conquest, Saskatchewan and in Rivers, Manitoba. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. George passed away in 2003. MATHISON, Roy C. WWII Roy was born in Bounty, Saskatchewan in 1913. He served in the Army with the 14th Canadian Hussars, RCAC. Roy served during World War II in Canada, England, Holland and Belgium. He received the 1939-1945 Star, War Medal 1939-1945 and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Roy was killed in action on May 4, 1945, in Oldenburg, Germany. He was initially buried in Oldenburg, Germany and was reburied in Holten, Holland. McFARLANE, Stuart A. WWII Stuart was born in Pettapiece, Manitoba in 1922. He served on HMS Glory in World War II on the Atlantic, Normandy, English Channel and the Bay of Biscay. He is a 64-year member of The Royal Canadian Legion Brandon Branch 3.
