He enlisted in October 1944 to serve on the Atlantic and Pacific with the Merchant Navy. He was discharged on April 15, 1947 receiving the Service Medal. Michael was married to his wife Jeanette. GOVENLOCK, Charles Douglas WWII Charles served in Canada with the NRMA Army and was discharged on February 18, 1946. GOVENLOCK, William Russell WWI William was born in Neepawa, Manitoba on May 21, 1897. He enlisted in Winnipeg in February 1918 for World War I and was discharged in December 1918. His service unit was the 1st Depot Battalion.William and his wife Leone had two children, Gail and Allen.
