He enlisted for World War II in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 8, 1941 serving in Europe with the Army. He was discharged in Vancouver on March 2, 1945 receiving a Service Medal. Frank and his wife Lois Norma had a daughter Judith Anne. GENYK, Michael WWII Michael was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 17, 1917. He enlisted in Flin Flon on May 9, 1943 serving n the Navy with the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve on HMCS Unicorn on the Atlantic. He was discharged on November 13, 1943 receiving the 1939-1945 Star. Michael and his wife Laura had two children Shane and Sandra. GEORGICA, Lorne Walter KOREA Lorne was born in Great Falls, Manitoba on November 13, 1928. He enlisted in Winnipeg on September 6, 1950. Lorne’s service unit was the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and he served in Canada, United States of America, Japan, and Korea. He was discharged in Winnipeg on June 14, 1953. He received the Korea Medal. Lorne’s wife was Dorothy and they had two sons Dennis and James.
