He enlisted in Maidstone, England on August 6, 1914 and served in Belgium and France as a Private. He was discharged in Bramshott, England on September 12, 1919. Owen received the Military Medal, Mons Star Medal, General Service and Victory Medal. He had one son James. DE KNEEF, Emil WWII Emil was born in Belgium in 1915. He served as a Private with the H.K. 12 Division in the Army during World War II. Emil was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. DELORME, Ernest N. WWII Ernest was born in Mariapolis, Manitoba, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos Delorme. He enlisted at Winnipeg, Manitoba in December 1942 and trained at Victoria, British Columbia. He was stationed at Victoria, Prince Rupert, and overseas in the Pacific Force in England in 1945. He was discharged in March 1946. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. After the war, he married Imelda Dupuis of St. Jean Baptiste in November 1946. They made their home farming in Pilot Mound, Manitoba then later moved to St. Alphonse in 1967 until their retirement. Ernest resides at the Notre Dame Foyer in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba.
