He enlisted in the Navy in July 1944 and served as Leading Seaman with HMCS Chippawa in Scotland and Newfoundland during World War II. He was discharged in Winnipeg in May 1945. CROSSMAN, Dennis George WWII Dennis was born on September 29, 1919. He enlisted in the Army in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 7, 1941. He served in World War II with the 17th Field Battalion in Canada and overseas until his discharge in Winnipeg on October 26, 1945. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Dennis and his wife Ellen had one son, Rae. CROUSE, Bimson McLeod WWII Bimson was born in Pilot Mound on March 9, 1909. He enlisted in the Army in Regina, Manitoba in May 1940 and served with the MED RCME in Canada and overseas. Bimson was discharged in Winnipeg on February 9, 1945. He received a Service Medal. Bimson and his wife Jean had two children, Barbara Linda and Stuart Edward.
