He joined the South Saskatchewan Regiment and served in France, Germany and Holland during World War II. He was at Normandy on June 6, 1944. William was wounded at Fort de la Londe on August 27, 1944 and recuperated on the Isle of Man. He returned to active duty in Holland until the end of the War. He received the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He was a 22-year member of The Royal Canadian Legion Boissevain Branch 10. William passed away on September 15, 1968. COSTELLO, William Patrick WWII William was born in Rangoon, Burma on November 15, 1904. He enlisted in the Air Force in Winnipeg on December 11, 1940 and served in Canada during World War II. He was discharged in Winnipeg on February 22, 1945 and received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He was married to Ina. COTE, Joseph Henry WWII Joseph was born in Cobalt on February 24, 1922. He enlisted in the Army in Toronto in April 1943. He served as a Corporal overseas in World War II. Joseph was discharged in Toronto in March 1946 and received a Service Medal. Joseph was married to Gertie.
