87 The Royal Canadian Legion MANITOBA & NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO COMMAND www.mbnwo.ca EASTON, Harvey Maxwell WWII Harvey was born in Neelin in 1912, the son of Andrew and Margaret Easton. He enlisted in Winnipeg and trained at Toronto, Rivers, and Mountain View, Ontario. He was stationed at Mossbook Bombing and Gunnery School in Saskatchewan. He married Edith Lloyd Wilson in 1939. They had two daughters, Patricia Jean and Andrea Edith and a son Stuart Harvey. He passed away on November 29, 1967. EDWORTHY, Thomas Edward WWII Thomas was born in Star City, Saskatchewan on December 25, 1922. He enlisted in the Canadian Army on October 28, 1941 and served at the rank of Sergeant in Canada and in England during World War II. He was a dispatcher and drove a Harley Davidson motorcycle during the course of his Army days in England. Thomas met his wife Betty Kathleen Edworthy in England during the war and they were later married in Canada on January 13, 1949. They had five children. He was discharged on February 14, 1946. He was a member of Flin Flon Legion Branch 73 in Flin Flon for eighteen years. Thomas lived in Flin Flon until his passing on February 26, 1977. EINARSON, Henry John WWII Henry was born in Winnipeg on September 11, 1918, the son of Goodie and Mary Einarson. Harry enlisted at Portage la Prairie and trained at Brandon. He was stationed at Wainwright and Prince George and overseas at Horsham, Sussex County, England, Belgium and Holland. He lived in Manitoba and farmed seven miles north of Baldur. He married Willa Larocque on June 9, 1954. They had three sons, Craig, David and Bradley and two daughters, Roberta Lee and Mary Leanne. Henry is a former MLA (PC) for Rock Lake Constituency, a position he has held for many years.
