He enlisted in Winnipeg and trained at Portage la Prairie. He was stationed at Red Deer, Alberta and served overseas in England, Africa, Italy, Holland, Belgium, France and Germany. He married Rachel Catteeuw on January 12, 1952. They had three daughters: Wendy, Linda and Julie. At one point, he owned and operated the Baldur Transfer. He was a member of the Baldur Legion Branch 108. BRAY (CATTEEUW), Rachel WWII Rachel was born in St. Alphonse, Manitoba, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Remi Catteeuw. She enlisted in Winnipeg and trained at Vermillion, Alberta and was stationed at Calgary and Suffield, AB. She served overseas in England, Belgium, Germany, Holland and France. She married Burton Bray on January 12, 1952 and they later had three daughters: Wendy, Linda and Julie. BREAULT, Irving Douglas WWII Irving was born in Baldur, the son of James E. and Helen Breault. He enlisted at Winnipeg and trained at Red Deer, Alberta and at England and Wales. He served in France and Germany. He married Essenlina B. Bleumick in Brummen, Holland on January 10, 1946 and they later had two children: James Douglas and Lina B. Irving lived in Vancouver, BC and was a Stationary Engineer after the war.
