It is also the year that Canadians celebrate their country’s 150th birthday. This is the eighth edition of the Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario Military Service Recognition Book. It is meant as a tribute to all those Veterans who served or are serving, as well as to all of those who made the supreme sacrifice in defense of our way of life. We owe these men and women a debt of gratitude that may never be fully paid. It is important to all of us that we continue to recognize. So I say to all of you who made submissions to this or any earlier edition of the Military Service Recognition Book, Thank You.
