He joined the Royal Canadian Navy in July 1962 and did basic training at HMCS Cornwallis. Paul served on HMCS Mic Mac, then HMCS Shelbourne. He is currently retired and resides in Flin Flon, where he is a member of Flin Flon Legion Branch 73. WARGA, Terry PEACETIME Terry was born in Victoria, British Columbia in 1944. She joined the Royal Canadian Navy in Saskatoon and did basic training at HMCS Cornwallis, Nova Scotia. After basic training, Terry did trade training in Key West, Florida and then went to HMCS Shelbourne. Terry passed away in 1999. WARRENER, Albert Eggleston BOER WAR Albert was born in Lisdale, Ontario on August 28, 1865. He moved to Manitoba as a young man and was employed at railroad work for many years. He was a veteran of the Riel Rebellion in 1883. He farmed in the Baldur district for over forty years. Albert married Lorraine McCreary of Belleville, Ontario and they had two sons, Clarence and Harry of Baldur. Albert was buried on February 21, 1941.
