He enlisted at Toronto in the RCAF and trained there and at Rockliffe, serving overseas in England and in Germany as a dispatch rider in the motorcycle corps. He was honourably discharged on August 28, 1946 and transferred to the Reserve, General Section, Class E. He married Bernice Bawdon on October 17, 1947. They had one daughter, Sharon. Amie lived in Minneapolis, USA where he was employed as a machinist. FREDERICKSON, Christian WWII Christian was born in Baldur in 1923, the second son of Walter and Margaret Frederickson. He enlisted at Peterborough and was a Signaller for the North Nova Scotia Highlanders serving in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He married Gay Catteeuw in 1949. They had a daughter, Candy Louise, and a son, Randy Kris. They resided in St. Boniface where Chris drove a transit bus. FREDERICKSON, H. Aubrey WWII Aubrey was born in Baldur, the son of Byron and Amy Frederickson. He enlisted at Weyburn, Saskatchewan, trained at Weyburn and was stationed at Regina and Shilo in 1939. He went overseas in June 1940. He was badly wounded in 1944 in Normandy. He was returned to Canada in December 1944 and was discharged as medically unfit on March 1, 1945. He married Mary E. Douglas in 1948. They had one son, Byron. Aubrey has been a member of the Brandon Legion Branch.
