He joined the Army with his brothers, Frank and George, in 1942. He is believed to have served overseas with the R.C.O.C. but little is known of his service. After discharge, he and his wife moved to Moses Lake, Washington, USA where he died on September 5, 1990. FEADER, William “Bill” WWII Bill was born in Manson, Manitoba where he began school before moving to Kirkella, MB. He joined the Army early in World War II and served in Canada, England, Italy, Holland, Belgium and Germany. He served overseas for five years. After the war, Bill ran a store in Kirkella and had a trucking business. Later, he was a grain buyer for Saskatchewan Pool Elevators in Hart and Fairlight, SK. FERGUSON, George WWII/SPECIAL DUTY AREA George was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba in 1926. He enlisted in the Navy and served in Canada aboard HMCS Quatsino during World War II and in special duty area. He has been a member of the of the Portage la Prairie Legion Branch 65 for 29 years.
