He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the 2nd Anti-Tank Regiment attached to the Essex Scottish Regiment, 2nd Canadian Division. André served in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. CHARLES, Henry E. Henry was born in Grande Clairière, MB in 1941. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery 2nd Regiment. Gunner Charles saw action in Germany with the NATO Forces at Camp Deilinghofen and in Holland. He was a member of Hartney Legion Branch 26. Henry passed away in 2002. CHARLES, Louis WWII Louis was born in Grande Clairière, MB in 1925. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment, 4th Canadian Armoured Division and saw action in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Private Charles was wounded in Germany seven days prior to Victory in Europe Day. CHARLES, Jack PEACETIME Jack was born in Souris, MB in 1951. He joined the Cadets and trained in Chilliwack, BC. Jack obtained the rank of Officer Cadet.
