He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders in England, France, Germany and Holland. He was a member of Selkirk Legion Branch 42 for thirty years. Walter passed away in 1982. SUTTON, Hugh E. N. WWII Hugh was born in 1921. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Canadian Armoured Corps and the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment during World War II. He was a Life Member of Fort William Legion Branch 6. Hugh passed away in 2004. TABOR, Allan R. WWII Allan was born in Fort William, ON in 1921. He served with the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment in Europe and the United Kingdom. He was a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for fifteen years. Allan passed away in 2009. SWAENEPOEL, Frank D. WWII Frank was born in Freedale, MB on April 15, 1917. He served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in England, France, Holland and Belgium. In 1945, he married Edna Gow of Aberdeen, Scotland. He was an active member of the Souris Legion Branch 60. Frank passed away at the age of 54 and is buried in the Veterans section of the Souris and Glenwood Cemetery.
