He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada and the Royal Canadian Corps of Signal in Holland, Belgium and Germany. He was wounded in St-André, France and was transferred to a hospital in England. William was a Life Member of Hartney Legion Branch 26 until he passed away in 1996. MORROW, Elgin Alexander WWII Elgin was born on September 10, 1920. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. His awards include the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the 1939-45 Medal, the France and Germany Star and the Defence Medal. He was a Life Member of Morden Legion Branch 21. Elgin passed away on November 17, 1991. MORTON, John H. WWII John was born in Grande-Clairière, MB in 1918. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army in 1940 and served with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles before transferring to the Royal Canadian Air Force. He saw action in England and Germany. John served with NATO in Canada and Germany from 1951 to 1953. MORROW, Elmer R. WWII Elmer was born in Darlingford, MB in 1918. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Royal Canadian Artillery, 5th Medium Artillery in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe and the Central Mediterranean area. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He was a member of Morden Legion Branch 11. Elmer passed away in 1994.
