He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Royal Canadian Artillery in the British Isles. He was a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for seven years. William passed away in 2009. MANULAK, Mike WWII Mike was born in the Oakburn District, MB in 1919. He joined the Royal Canadian Army on January 25, 1943 and served with the Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury Regiment during World War II. He was stationed on the West Coast when the war ended and received his discharge on February 25, 1946. After the war, he returned to Manitoba and began farming in the Vizsla District. MARKS, George F. WWII George was born in 1918. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served with the Lake Superior Regiment in Northern Europe. He was a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for 40 years. George passed away in 2004. MARCHANT, Harold WWII Harold was born in Kenora, ON in 1925. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve in the high seas during World War II. He was a member of Kenora Legion Branch 12 for 46 years. Harold passed away in 2001.
