He was a member of Souris Legion Branch 60 before he died on October 30, 1983. PATRANIUK, Peter WWII Peter joined the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve and served during World War II. He has been a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for more than thirty years. PATRICK, Thomas Vincent WWI Thomas was a member of the Air Force Cadet and the Royal Air Force. He died on May 18, 1918 at the age of 15. Thomas is buried in the Souris and Glenwood Cemetery. PAYETTE, Ernest J. WWII Ernest was born in 1922. He joined the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve and served during WWII. He was a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for seventeen years before he died in 2002. PETTYPIECE, Thomas WWI Thomas was born in 1882. During WWI, he served in France and Belgium with the 212th Battalion (American Legion), the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry and the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was killed in action in 1917 at Passchendaele. POULTER, Fred WWII Fred joined the Army and served with the 2nd Med. Regular Royal Canadian Army during World War II. He has been a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for fifty-four years. PROBERT, Joseph J. WWII Joseph was born in 1923. He served in England with the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers during WWII. Joseph was a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for forty years before he died in 2005. QUARREL, May A. WWII May was born in 1925 and she served with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps during WWII. She has been a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for more than forty-four years. ROGERS, Wesley Peter PEACETIME Wesley was born in 1932 and served with the 35th Tech Squadron of the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. He has been a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for twenty-eight years. ROONEY, H. J. WWII H. J. Rooney was born in 1927. He joined the Army and served in the Canadian Infantry in Canada in WWII. He was a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for twenty-six years before he passed away in 2009. ROSENTRETER, Richard PEACETIME Richard was born in Beauséjour in 1940. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a radar technician. SCHILLER, George WWII George was born in 1919. TAYLOR, John WWI John was born on March 14, 1883 and married Annie of Griswold. He joined the Manitoba Regiment, 8th Battalion, and was killed in action on September 9, 1917.
