He joined the Army and served in Canada during World War II. James has been a member of Gladstone Legion Branch 110 for thirty-seven years. SCOBIE, David WWII David was born in 1924. He joined the Army and served with the Royal Canadian Artillery and the Lincoln and Wellington Regiment in Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe. David has been a member of Fort William Legion Branch 6 for seventeen years. SEED, William WWI William was born in 1881 in Preston Lane, England. He joined the Army during WWI and served in Germany with the 183rd Battalion and in the Forestry Corps. He was a member of Winnipeg Legion Branch 1 and Roseau Valley Legion Branch 160 before he died in 1963. SEED, Christopher Omer WWII Christopher was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1923. He joined the Army and served at the #10 District Depot, CIC, in the Central Mediterranean area during WWII. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the Italy Star, the Defence Medal, and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Christopher was a member of Roseau Valley Legion Branch 160 for more than forty years before he died in 1987.
