He joined the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry in World War II and served in England, North Africa, Italy and Northwest Europe. He also took on several duties with the Occupation forces in Germany. Andrew progressed through the ranks and was promoted to Lieutenant-Colonel in 1964. He passed away in 1981. MILLS, Kendall PEACETIME Kendall was born in Hartney, Manitoba in 1942. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy and did his training at HMCS Cornwallis. MILLS, Wallace William WWII & KOREA Wallace was born in Hartney, Manitoba in 1919. He served in the Army and the Air Force with the 2nd Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders in Canada and at the Dieppe Raid in WWII. He also served with the UN Peace Corps in the Middle East. Wallace was in the Army for 29 years and was awarded the Military Cross for Korea. MILLS, Larry K. PEACETIME Larry was born in Hartney, Manitoba in 1946. He joined the Royal Canadian School of Signals and served in Kingston, Ontario.
