McCUAIG, Daniel WWI Daniel joined the 222nd Battalion during World War I then transferred to the 44th Battalion and served in Northern France. He was killed in action at Vimy Ridge in 1917. McCULLOCH, James Ernest “Jim” WWII Jim was born in Kisbey, Saskatchewan on December 17, 1917 and moved to Souris, Manitoba with his family in 1934. When World War II broke out, he enlisted with the ground crew of the Aero Mechanics Division of the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in England. Upon his return to Canada, he was employed by the Manitoba Power Commission. Jim married Marnie Leifer in 1954. He died in Calgary, Alberta on February 25, 1974. McCULLOCH, Clarence Nelson WWII Nelson was born on September 20, 1924 in Kisbey, Saskatchewan and moved with his family to Souris, Manitoba in 1934. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in England and Germany during World War II. After the war was over, he returned home and signed up for duty in the Pacific but before he was due to leave the country, V-J Day was declared. Nelson married Lorraine Maylott in 1950 and he was employed by Canadian General Tower Limited. Nelson and Lorraine moved to Cambridge, Ontario. He died in August 2005.
