He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in France and Holland with the Hussars. Frank was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion before his death in 1972. HOLMSTROM, Harold WWII Harold was born in 1918 in Kenora, Ontario. He joined the Canadian Army and served during World War II. Harold was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion. HORRILL, Kenneth Alvin “Ken” WWII Ken was born on August 30, 1924 in the Mylor district of Cartwright, Manitoba. He joined the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry at the age of 18 and served in England, Holland and Italy during World War II. He married Beatrice Erickson in April 1948 and they raised a family of five. Ken passed away on May 8, 1987. HOOK, Stanislaw “Stan” WWII Stan was born in Watrass, Saskatchewan. He joined the Canadian Army and served from 1942 to 1944 during World War II. While on duty in England, he met his bride-to-be, Marion Wool. Stan worked at the Manitoba Rolling Mill and Abex Steel Foundry as a watchman. He died in Ontario.
