317 command chief warrant officer retired necole belanger Necole enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1987 as a Military Policewoman and retired in 2022, after thirty-five years of service with postings across Canada and abroad. She finished her career as only the second female to have reached the position of Command CWO. Besides her duties as a military police officer, Necole also held leadership positions included being the CWO for the Strategic Joint Staff, the CWO for Operation Honour, the CAF’s response to sexual misconduct, the 16 Wing CWO, the CWO for the Canadian Defence Academy, writing leadership doctrine for the entire CAF, and finally, being appointed the Command CWO for the Canadian Forces Intelligence Command. Necole is the most published non-commissioned member (NCM) author of leadership doctrine and culture change in CAF history, and she recently wrote a book, titled: Pride amid Prejudice, that debuted on Amazon.ca in November 2023. Necole is an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. In her three years with Branch 288, she held the positions of Seregant-at-Arms, Public Relations Officer, Events Coordinator, Colour Party Commander, volunteer bartender, Veteran Service Officer, and 2nd Vice President. �
