Military Service Recognition Book 174 The City of Richmond honours all the men and women who served, and continue to serve, this great nation of Canada. To commemorate local soldiers who lost their lives in World War I, World War II and the Korean War, the City created an online exhibit about those who died in military service—all of whom are listed on the Richmond cenotaph, with some having streets named after them which are highlighted by poppy-adorned street signs.
