7 2022 Dear Friends: I am pleased to extend my warmest greetings to the readers of the 2022 edition of In the Service of Canada, The Royal Canadian Legion British Columbia/Yukon Command Military Service Recognition Book. The annual publication pays tribute to the Veterans, current military and RCMP of British Columbia and Yukon service members. Through a compilation of biographies, personal stories and photographs, each edition honours the brave Canadians in uniform who have served our country throughout history and helps to ensure that their contributions, and sacrifices, are never forgotten. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Veterans and serving members for all they have done, and continue to do, to secure a better future for Canada and the world. I would also like to commend the British Columbia/Yukon Command of the Royal Canadian Legion for their hard work and dedication in preserving these memories for future generations.
