197 Chrysler returned to Korea many years after the war as a civilian engineer with a large Korean construction conglomerate. There he met his future wife, Kyoung-ja, who worked in administration with the same company. After their marriage they returned to Canada, where their son GregoryWilliam Chrysler was born. Later in life his son Gregory chose to settle down in Korea instead of Canada where he met his wife, Julie Choi. Their son, William Chrysler, is named after his grandfather.
