He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Kinsella Branch 222. Murray died on July 7, 1995. Blades, William Henry William was born in Delburne, Alberta in 1919. He enlisted in World War Two with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1940. He graduated as WOP/AG and went overseas with the rank of Sergeant. He served with the 115 Squadron based at Marham, Norfolk, England. William was killed in action over England on August 2, 1941. He is buried in the Marham Cemetery, Norfolk, England. Blake, Robert Peter “Leonard” Leonard was born in Bellevue, Alberta in 1931 and grew up in the Crows Nest Pass in Alberta. In 1939, when he was eight years old, his father went to serve in World War Two. He manned the home for five years until his dad, Robert Blake, returned from the Army in 1944. Leonard followed in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the Canadian Army (Special Forces) in 1950 and served in the Korean War before being stationed in Germany for two years. He spent the next seven years in Victoria, followed by seven in Vancouver and then eight in Calgary where he was a Base Exchange store manager. Leonard was discharged in 1973 and later moved to Kelowna where he resided until his passing in April 2008. He was a fifty-year member of The Royal Canadian Legion.
