THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION ALBERTA-NWT COMMAND www.abnwtlegion.com 331 Wolensky, Harry Harry was born in Kahwin, Alberta on April 8, 1923. He joined the Army on June 11, 1943. He was assigned first to the 1st Battalion Dufferin and Haldimand Rifles of Canada but joined the Oxford Rifles before going overseas. Harry served in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany before he was discharged on July 31, 1946 with the rank of Trooper. He was awarded the War Medal 1939-1945, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Harry returned to his farm in the Carlton, Alberta area after the war and lived there until he passed away in 2001. Wolf, Leroy Thomas “Tom” Tom was born on April 4, 1919 and was raised in Millet, Alberta. During World War Two, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a Leading Aircraftman with 135 Fighter Squadron in Pat Bay and Tofino, BC for three years from 1942 to 1945. Following his discharge, Tom and his wife and family resided in Brentwood Bay, BC. Tom is now deceased. Wolosinka, Frank Francis Frank was born in Round Hill, Alberta in 1919. He enlisted in World War Two with the Canadian Army and served in Canada with National Resources Mobilization. Frank was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Viking Branch 81. He died in 1985.
