He enlisted in the Army on April 5, 1942 and served with the HQ, 1st Canadian Army Transport Section in England, Belgium, Holland, France, and Germany. Wilfred was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, and the War Medal 1939-1945. He returned to his farm at Tees on September 13, 1945. Wilfred was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Clive Branch 171 for 33 years before he died on March 11, 1981. Webber, Captain Captain Webber served in the British Army after World War One and came to Viking in the early 1930s. He had a small-scale dairy farm there. He left Viking for England at the time of WorldWar Two, so he could help in some capacity again. Captain Webber was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Viking Branch 81. Webber, M. M. Webber was an Irma and District Veteran who died in active service. No further information was available.
