No further information was available. Vogel, Joseph “Joe” Joe was born in Hanna, Alberta in 1918. He enlisted in the Army in April 1942 and served in the 1 A/T (Anti-Tank) Battery in Canada, England, the Mediterranean, and Continental Europe. He was discharged in November 1945. Joe was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, and the War Medal 1939-1945. Joe was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Ponoka Branch 66. He died in 1989.
