He enlisted in World War Two with the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada and overseas. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Kinsella Branch 222. Matthew died on November 10, 1982. Sehlin, Henry Henry was born on October 6, 1899 and raised in Millet, Alberta. During World War One, he enlisted in the Central Alberta Regiment at the age of sixteen. He was transferred to the 78th Battalion of the Winnipeg Grenadiers and saw action in France and Belgium. He served for four years. Henry joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War Two and served in Canada for five years at various Air Force bases across Canada. He passed away on July 8, 1965 and is buried at the Wang Lutheran Church Cemetery east of Millet. His son James served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Sehlin, James James was born on March 19, 1932 and was raised in Millet, Alberta. He enlisted in the Canadian Army in August 1950 and served in Korea during the conflict there. He was injured in April 1951 and discharged in January 1952. After his return home, he farmed the home place for some time and then worked for Northwestern Utilities in Wetaskiwin. He later moved to Kamloops, BC where he was employed by B.C. Gas Co. James died on July 27, 2010. His father Henry served in both World Wars.
