He enlisted in the Army during World War Two and served three years in Canada as well as overseas for a short time. He was discharged in 1946 and bought a farm under the Veteran’s Land Act. Erwin died on July 5, 1990. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Viking Branch 81. Schweitzer, Joseph Joseph was born in Rudersdorf, Austria in 1906. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps and was deployed from Quebec in 1942 to serve in England, Holland, and Germany. Joseph was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Ponoka Branch 66 for 32 years. He died in 1977. Scott, Harold Harold was born Macklin, Saskatchewan in 1919. He enlisted in the No. 8 General Hospital CASF on July 23, 1940 in Saskatoon. Harold served in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and France during World War Two and rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Silver Bar, War Medal 1939-1945, and Defence Medal. Harold was discharged in Calgary on November 6, 1945. He joined the Canadian National Railway in 1946 and served in several executive positions across western Canada until he retired in 1979. Morris passed away in 2003 in Sherwood Park, Alberta. He met his wife Daisy while she was serving in the Signal Corps in England during World War Two.
