He served in the Canadian Army during World War One and was wounded in France. He returned to Edmonton after his discharge and continued his Painting and Decorating for Cameron Co. and was President of the Edmonton Master’s Painters Association. Rozmahel, Frank Frank was born in Viking, Alberta and he served during World War One. After returning home, he farmed until he died on February 5, 1967. Frank was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Viking Branch 81. Rublatz, John William “Bill” Bill was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1915. He grew up in Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary, Alberta as a teenager. He enlisted in the Army before World War Two with the South Calgary Regiment and later transferred to the King’s Own Calgary Regiment (Tank Corps) as a tank commander. Bill was sent to England in late December 1939 and served as a tank driver in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, and Holland for five years duringWorldWar Two. He was awarded the Mentioned in Dispatches Oak Leaf and discharged in 1945. Bill returned to Calgary where he remained in the Military Reserve. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 177 in Caroline for many years before he moved to Innisfail. He joined The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 104 in Innisfail and became part of the Innisfail Legion Colour Party. Bill passed away on July 11, 1993.
