He moved to Canada and farmed around Daysland, Alberta until he enlisted in the 51st Battalion in Edmonton on February 17, 1915. George was wounded on October 12, 1916 while serving with the 15th Battalion. He was sent to hospital in England and after recovering, transferred to the 49th Battalion. Walter was wounded again on October 8, 1918 by shrapnel in his thigh, foot and hands. Roth, Lloyd Milton Lloyd was born in Forestburg, Alberta in 1918. He enlisted in World War Two with the Canadian Army and served with the Canadian Infantry Corps Tracer Edmonton Regiment in England, France, Holland, and Germany. He received the France and Germany Star, 1939-1945 War Medal and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Lloyd was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Viking Branch 81 for 25 years. He died in 2003. Rowley, Tom Bateman Tom was born in Clive, Alberta in 1918. During World War Two, Tom enlisted in the Air Force and served as a Flying Officer, Navigator. Tom died in 1959 at the age of 41 after battling cancer.
