He made his way to Edmonton and worked as a broker before serving seven years with the Northwest Mounted Police. He then joined the 101st Edmonton Fusiliers for two years and was promoted to Lieutenant. Alfred enlisted in the 51st Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force on November 15, 1915. He was eventually promoted to Major, but no further information was available. Palivoda, Randolph John Randolph was born in Edmonton, Alberta on April 26, 1937. He served with the 4th Regiment, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery in Canada at Petawawa, Ontario. Randolph was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 124 in Cadomin for 44 years. He passed away in June 2011. Paquette, Leonard L. Leonard enlisted in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals, 1st Division in April 1941 and served as a Lance Corporal until he was discharged on February 22, 1944 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He also served in Korea in Peacetime. Leonard was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, and the Defence Medal. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 169 in Boyle, Alberta. Leonard passed away on August 29, 1998.
