He enlisted in the Army on November 10, 1942 and served with the 6 Light Anti-Aircraft 2nd Corps in France and Germany during World War Two. Robert was discharged on February 4, 1946. He was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp. Robert was a Life Member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 169 in Boyle, Alberta until he passed away on December 6, 2007. Ivey, Gordon Gordon and his parents moved to Ellscott, Alberta in April 1936. He helped his father on the family farm until he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1939. Gordon served as a Navigator during World War Two in England and was killed in action over Germany in 1944. His parents were able to visit Gordon’s grave in the Stonefall Cemetery in Harrogate, Yorkshire in 1947. Jackson, Clifford Clifford was born in Millet. He served inWorldWar Two with the Army for four years and eight months as an electrical mechanical engineer with the rank of Private. He passed away on June 20, 1977.
