During World War Two, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a Flight Lieutenant. James worked as a Flight Instructor for Commonwealth Countries from 1941 to 1946. Upon his discharge, he became a Veterinarian and resided in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. James passed away in April 2000. His brother Jack served in the U.S. Air Force during World War Two. Gowland, Roy Roy was born in Hamilton, Ontario on December 25, 1893. He was working as a farmer before he enlisted with the 51st Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force in Edmonton on June 16, 1915. He was serving as a Private with the 7th Battalion (British Columbia) at the Battle of Mount Sorrel near Ypres, Belgium when he was killed on June 12, 1916. Roy is buried at the Railway Dugouts Burial Ground in Ypres. Graham, David David was born in 1919 in Alberta and raised in Didsbury and Millet. He enlisted in the Army in 1940 and served during World War Two until 1945. David passed away in 1977. His brother Joe also served in the Army during World War Two.
