He worked on farms for a while and then became the custodian of the Millet School from 1930 to 1939. During World War Two, he was a Private in the Medical Corps of the Royal Canadian Air Force and was stationed at Penhold, Alberta, Gimli, Manitoba, and Brandon, Ontario. After his discharge in 1945, he moved to Sardis, BC and worked as a nurse in the hospital there. Robert later moved to Telford Bay on Salt Spring Island, BC where he lived until he passed away. His two brothers, Eric and George, also served in the Canadian Forces duringWorld War Two. Glaser, Arthur Arthur was born in Leduc, Alberta on November 21, 1918. He was raised in the Leduc area and graduated from Leduc High School. During World War Two, Arthur served from 1939 to 1948 in the Army as a Sergeant with the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps and he played in the Army Band. After his discharge, he enjoyed farming and in later years enjoyed country vacationers who visited the farm. Arthur passed away on March 3, 1988. Glassman, Edward Edward was born in 1912 in Edmonton, Alberta. He was raised and took his schooling in Leduc, Alberta. In 1930, he moved to the Conjuring Lake District west of Millet, Alberta. Edward enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 and served until 1945 during World War Two at six different locations in Canada. He was a Corporal and served as a Policeman in the Military Service. Edward passed away in 2000.
