He enlisted in the RCAF in 1943, serving in Canada and England as an aero engineer. He was discharged in 1945. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, Defence Medal, and Victory Medal. Malcolm passed away in 1951. Ewart, William H. William was born in England in 1891. He came to Canada in 1910 and went overseas in 1916 with the Winnipeg Regiment. His health never recovered after he was gassed. William was discharged in 1918 and returned to Canada to live in Alberta in 1924. He passed away in 1955. Farrell, Alfred Alfred was born in Carstairs, Alberta in 1916. He served in the Royal Corps of Signals in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe during World War Two. His two brothers also served in the Armed Forces. Alfred died in 2009.
