He immigrated to Canada and worked as a machinist until he enlisted in the 51st Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force on January 30, 1915. Duff, John John lived in the Rocky Mountain House area of Alberta until he enlisted in the Army in World War One with the 31st Battalion, Alberta Regiment. John was killed in action in 1916, probably during the Battle of the Somme. He is buried in the Sunken Road Cemetery in Boisleux-St. Marc, a village in the department of Pas-de-Calais, eight kilometers south of Arras, France. Duplessis, Henry Vietime Henry was born in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. He enlisted in the Army on September 5, 1915 and served as a Private with Unit 66, Canadian Infantry, 22nd Battalion in Canada, England, France, and Germany duringWorldWar One. Henry was discharged on June 11, 1919. He lived in the Donatville, Alberta area and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 169 in Boyle for a long time. His son served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War Two.
