He served with the RCAC 5th CDN Armoured Division in Canada, England and Italy. He received the Volunteer Service Medal, the George VI Medal, the Defence Medal, the 1939-1945 Star and the Italy Star. He was a member of Legion Branch 142 Delburne. Ezra died in September 1989. Challenor, Vicary Clive Clive was born in Barbados on May 15, 1883. He served as a Sergeant in the 214th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force in World War One. He passed away on April 25, 1977. Clive is buried in Viking Cemetery. Chipchase, Ernest Ernest was born on November 4, 1920. He was a member of the 1st Canadian Special Service Battalion during World War Two. Sergeant Chipchase was killed in action on March 31, 1944 in Italy where he is buried in the Beach Head War Cemetery in Anzio. Ernest’s two brothers also served during World War Two.
